About

Pack 494 is a vibrant Cub Scout pack based in Katy, Texas, welcoming boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade. We are chartered to provide a fun, family-oriented program that helps scouts grow in character, citizenship, and leadership while building lifelong skills.

Our pack follows the scouting journey through age-based dens — Lions (K), Tigers (1st), Wolves (2nd), Bears (3rd), Webelos (4th), and Arrow of Light (5th). Each step brings new adventures, from learning outdoor skills to serving the community and developing leadership.

We believe Scouting is best experienced together. Parents, guardians, and leaders play an active role in guiding our scouts while creating a supportive and welcoming community for the whole family.

Pack 494 is more than just a program — it’s a place where kids discover their strengths, families connect, and everyone has the chance to grow through fun, adventure, and service.
